Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Kolkata Municipal Council Ward 101 councilor Bappaditya Dasgupta, known to be closely associated with Partha Chattopadhyay, underwent questioning at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office regarding recruitment matters in the primary teacher recruitment corruption case.
Bappaditya's connection to the recruitment scandal surfaced in November last year, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alleged the discovery of job-related documents during a search at his residence. The ED summoned Bappaditya Dasgupta based on his frequent meetings with Partha Chattopadhyay, suspecting that he possesses valuable information about Partha's involvement in the recruitment case. The ED anticipates uncovering significant details during the interrogation of Bappaditya Dasgupta.
